So, does this website use cookies?
No. dishwashers.it.com does not place any cookies of its own on your device. The pages are plain HTML, a stylesheet and one small script that opens the mobile menu, runs the product filter and animates content as you scroll. None of that needs to remember you between visits, so nothing is stored.
What exactly is a cookie?
A cookie is a tiny text file a website asks your browser to save. On later requests the browser hands it back, which lets a site recognise a returning device — for example to keep a basket full or a login active. Cookies set by the site you are on are called first-party; ones set by another company's code embedded in that site are called third-party.
Are there third-party or tracking cookies?
No. We have deliberately left out analytics packages, advertising tags, social share buttons, embedded maps and video players from outside services — the usual sources of third-party cookies. The video on our home page is hosted on our own server.
What about similar technologies?
Cookies have relatives: local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and device fingerprinting. The Site uses none of them. Our script reads the current year for the footer and reacts to clicks, but it does not write anything to your browser's storage.
Does my visit leave any record at all?
Yes, but not in a cookie. Like any web server, the one hosting this Site automatically logs basic request details such as IP address and browser type. That happens on the server side, not on your device. Our Privacy Policy explains how those records are handled.
Why is there no cookie banner?
Consent banners exist to ask permission before non-essential cookies are placed. Since this Site places none, there is nothing to ask permission for — so we don't interrupt your visit with a pop-up.
How can I control cookies in my browser anyway?
Your browser gives you full control over cookies on every website you visit. Look in these places:
- ChromeSettings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- SafariSettings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- FirefoxSettings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- EdgeSettings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking cookies will not affect how this Site works, because it does not depend on them.
Could this ever change?
If we ever add a feature that needs a cookie, we will update this page first, describe the cookie, its purpose and how long it lasts, and ask for consent where the law requires it. The date at the top shows when this page was last reviewed — currently September 29, 2026.
Who can I ask about this?
Email [email protected] with any question about cookies or browser storage on this Site.
